Now, We Burn The Girls

Kick-off announcement: Welcome to the serial release of Book 1 of The Whispering House series on Substack and Vella.

Hello, friends! Many words have passed behind the scenes since my last post. As promised, I’m very excited to share my new serial novel, Burn the Girls with you! Are you ready for the next story in the Haunting of the Whispering House?

This series started with the recently released prequel novella, Bury the Child. In that story, we met Lydia Jones, grieving mother and conflicted wife. Her story is deep, reflective, suspenseful, and gripping. I’m humbled by how many people have enjoyed the book since it’s publication a few weeks ago. From day one, I planned Bury the Child as a weekly serial novella here on Substack. I enjoyed that experience so much, I committed to releasing the subsequent novel, Burn the Girls, as a serial as well.

The first episode of Burn the Girls launches November 1st on Substack and Kindle Vella. Paid subscribers can enjoy the story on either platform through the month of November and most of December. The serial will then be pulled for official publication and release in paperback, hardcover, eBook, and audiobook in late January, 2024.

Icing on the cake: This is not a beta read! Each episode is edited and proofread before release so you’ll get the final product here before it’s available for sale in January.
